For those who are starting their knitting journey, these little pieces are great for practice, because the same techniques are used as on the baby size pieces. So not only this is a toy for babies and kids, but also a powerful learning tool for knitting beginners as well.

PATTERNS INFORMATIONS:

MAPLE OVERALLS FOR THE OAK FOLK:
These little doll overalls are worked with raglan shaping from the top down. We start knitting flat until the crotch. The legs and sleeves can be knitted flat or in the round.The button/buttonhole bands are picked up and knitted afterwards.
- Experience level: Advanced Beginner
- Yarn: DK weight yarn
- Tension: 25 stitches x 34 rows = 10cm / 4” in stocking stitch with 3,5mm (US 4) needles
- Yardage: approx. 100m
- Needles: 3,5mm (US4) and 3mm(US2,5) circular or straight needles
- Knitting techniques: Knit, Purl, Knitting in the round, simple increases and decreases, picking up stitches.
- Languages: English and Portuguese

BOREAL HAT FOR THE OAK FOLK:
This hat is knitted flat from the bottom up.
- Experience level: Advanced Beginner
- Yarn: DK weight yarn
- Tension: 25 stitches x 34 rows = 10cm / 4” in stocking stitch with 3,5mm (US 4) needles.
- Yardage: approx. 25m
- Needles: 3,5mm (US4) straight or circular needles
- Knitting techniques: Knit, Purl, simple increases and decreases.
- Languages: English and Portuguese

NEST FOR THE OAK FOLK:
This beautiful doll nest is knitted flat with a combination of garter and stockinette stitch.
- Experience level: Advanced Beginner
- Yarn: ARAN weight yarn
- Tension: 17 stitches x 24 rows = 10cm / 4” in stocking stitch with 5mm (US 8) needles.
- Yardage: approx. 155m
- Filling: approx. 80gr
- Needles: 5mm (US8) circular needles with 100cm/40" (you need 2) and 4mm (US6) double pointed needles for the I-cords
- Knitting techniques: Knit, Purl, simple increases and decreases, 3 needle bind off method (has a link to a video tutorial)
- Languages: English and Portuguese

BLANKET FOR THE OAK FOLK:
This is a simple banket knitted in garter stitch. The pattern includes the formulas so you can personlize the size of your blanket.
- Experience level: Advanced Beginner
- Yarn: ARAN weight yarn
- Tension: 17 stitches x 24 rows = 10cm / 4” in stocking stitch with 5mm (US 8) needles.
- Yardage: approx. 100m
- Needles: 3,5mm (US4) double pointed needles
- Knitting techniques: Knit
- Languages: English and Portuguese
