For those who are starting their knitting journey, these little pieces are great for practice, because the same techniques are used as on the baby size pieces and everything is knitted flat. So not only this is a toy for babies and kids, but also a powerful learning tool for knitting beginners as well.

MOSSY BLOOMERS FOR THE OAK FOLK:
These tiny bloomers are worked flat in two pieces and knitted in double moss stitch, with a rib on the waist with holes for a waist cord.
The leg opening ribs are picked up and knitted afterwards.
- Experience level: Advanced Beginner
- Yarn: DK weight yarn
- Tension: 25 stitches x 34 rows = 10cm / 4” in stocking stitch with 3,5mm (US 4) needles.
- Yardage: approx. 50m
- Needles: 3,5mm (US4) straight or circular needles and 3,5mm (US 4) double pointed needles for the
I-cord / crochet hook (optional) / cord mill (optional)
- Knitting techniques: Knit, Purl, simple increases and decreases, picking up stitches, I-cord (optional).
- Languages: English and Portuguese

MOSSY PIXIE HAT FOR THE OAK FOLK:
The wee pixie bonnet is knitted in one flat piece from the casting on rib edge and working towards the back of the bonnet in double moss stitch, where it has a soft shaping for a close fit, ending with a small back seam. The bonnet also has two straps and an I-cord.
- Experience level: Advanced Beginner
- Yarn: DK weight yarn
- Tension: 25 stitches x 34 rows = 10cm / 4” in stocking stitch with 3,5mm (US 4) needles.
- Yardage: approx. 40m
- Needles: 3,5mm (US4) straight or circular needles and 3,5mm (US 4) double pointed needles for the

This is a very simple and easy vest, knitted flat in garter stitch.
- Experience level: Advanced Beginner
- Yarn: DK weight yarn
- Tension: 24 stitches x 48 rows = 10cm / 4” in garter stitch with 3,5mm (US 4) needles.
- Yardage: approx. 45m
- Needles: 3,5mm (US4) straight or circular needles
- Knitting techniques: Knit, Purl, simple increases and decreases
- Languages: English and Portuguese

SIMPLE BOOTIES FOR THE OAK FOLK:
This tiny booties are knitted flat, with the foot in garter stitch and a rib on the leg. Then they are sewed on the back and sole.
- Experience level: Advanced Beginner
- Yarn: DK weight yarn
- Tension: 24 stitches x 48 rows = 10cm / 4” in garter stitch with 3,5mm (US 4) needles.
- Yardage: approx. 40m
